This two-year management program in Dairy Management along with Post Graduate Diploma in Dairy Science and Technology seeks to produce talented and innovative management professionals who can efficiently and profitably handle the production, planning, and management of dairy farms and dairy co-operatives. After acquiring this course, participants will be employed as dairy technologist, dairy farm manager, head-dairy farm services, and dairy manager in India or abroad. The areas covered during this management program are milking management, cleaning management, milk filtration management, dairy farm planning management, technology management in dairy farms, overseeing production of various dairy products, sales and marketing management, quality control, public relations, and many other fundamental and innovative areas. Lavish curriculum of this program covers areas of start-up dynamics; financial accounting and management; business and marketing management; business laws and ethics; entrepreneurial strategy; business communications and relations; technical aspect of business operations; strategic business operations; social and global entrepreneurship; etc. This course is helpful for building careers as business owner, business consultant, corporate business advisor, venture capitalist, executive business officer, financial manager, etc.

Eligibility:

All those who have completed their Graduation are eligible to enroll for the course. However, this stands as the minimum stated criteria. Any candidate with a higher education in the field or in another field bearing similarities to this one can apply for the program just as easily.

Programme Duration:

The course is scheduled to take up a time of two years. The subjects and sessions have been designed as per the two year deadline and hence, carry a distributed sense among themselves.

Programme Fee:

The mandatory course fee for whole programme will be Rs 63500/-. This covers for the course registration fees, Interactive Lecture fee on key areas, Course material fee etc. Apart from this, an examination fee of Rs 4000/- needs to be paid later as per the examination notification of the Institute/University.

Examination and Certification:

An evaluation is scheduled at the end of each semester after the completion of the semester wise course. The candidates who qualify this examination will be awarded with Post Graduate Diploma in Dairy Science and Technology by IGMPI and with Masters of Business Management in Dairy Management by a UGC approved University.
